A Turkish navy cargo aircraft crashed Tuesday, reportedly marking the nation’s deadliest navy incident since 2020.

The plane — a C-130 Hercules — was recorded caught in a tailspin, spewing a path of smoke because it plummeted to the earth in footage shared by native outlet Turkey Tribune.
Ambulances, hearth vehicles and navy automobiles rushed to the crash website within the bordering nation of Georgia. The aircraft had reportedly been travelling from Azerbaijan to Turkey.
Turkish President Recep Erdogan gave his condolences to “our martyrs,” BBC Information studies. Georgian Prime Minister Kobakhidze prolonged his condolences for the “troopers who died a martyr’s demise” within the crash, based on a press release from the Turkish president’s workplace on X.
