A 17-year-old pedestrian died in a collision involving three vehicles on the A4042 in Cwmbran, Monmouthshire, around 12:25 p.m. on Thursday. Demi Edmunds, from nearby Caldicot, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Brother’s Heartfelt Tribute
Her brother, Jake Edmunds, described Demi as the ideal sister. “Demi was the best sister I could’ve ever asked for,” he said. “She was funny, kind, and caring. We were very close—she was like a best friend I could trust with anything. But she’s no longer with us. Hopefully, she’s in heaven, somewhere better.”
Family Statement
The family shared a statement highlighting Demi’s impact. “Demi was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, and niece,” they said. “Demi loved her friends, and she was loved by all.”
