A person accused of committing a string of armed robberies on the North Aspect over two days whereas on digital monitoring for a pending gun case has been sentenced to twenty years in jail.

In every case, victims advised police a person pulled up in a dark-colored SUV and robbed them at gunpoint on the road.

Between 11:23 p.m. and 11:55 p.m. on August 28, 2023, Safaeldin Daheya allegedly robbed a 23-year-old man within the 6200 block of North Talman, a 19-year-old man within the 6300 block of North Rockwell, and a 44-year-old man within the 6300 block of North California, in line with a CPD press launch.
