The MLB hot stove has been turned on, and there are plenty of stars who could be finding new homes this offseason.

JUMP TO: Alonso | Bichette | Bellinger | Bregman | Diaz | Murakami | Schwarber | Suarez | Tucker

Best fits: Texas Rangers, Washington Nationals, Arizona Diamondbacks

To return to the glory of their 2023 World Series campaign, the Rangers’ offense needs to make a seismic jump, and that comes on the free-agent market. Have we mentioned that Alonso, who’s in the prime of his career, is a free agent? READ MORE.

Best fits: Cleveland Guardians, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies

The Guardians did what they typically do: have a stellar bullpen, don’t get in their own way and just crack the postseason. If Cleveland wishes to contend for the AL pennant, it has to be busy in the offseason; Bellinger would be a perfect fit. READ MORE.

Best Fits: Arizona Diamondbacks, Seattle Mariners, Detroit Tigers

Any team knows exactly what they’re getting if they sign: an elite glove and a proven impact hitter from the right side. He also is ultra-battle-tested in postseason play, appearing in the playoffs for Boston last season and Houston in each of the previous eight seasons. READ MORE.

Bo Bichette has led the American League in hits twice. (Photo by Emilee Chinn/Getty Images)

Best Fits: Cleveland Guardians, Atlanta Braves, Milwaukee Brewers

Want a star shortstop entering his prime? Meet Bo Bichette. The career Toronto Blue Jays shortstop is among the best at his position, a vibrant, right-handed hitter and a two-time All-Star. READ MORE.

Best Fits: Detroit Tigers, Toronto Blue Jays, Los Angeles Dodgers

A two-time National League Reliever of the Year, Diaz is among the more overpowering closers in MLB, hitting the high 90s with his four-seamer and making hitters look silly with his slider. The Mets will likely make a considerable effort to keep him, but they’ll have plenty of company to secure his services. READ MORE.

Munetaka Murakami is a two-time MVP in the Nippon Professional Baseball League. (Photo by Megan Briggs/Getty Images)

Best Fits: New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs, Seattle Mariners

Munetaka Murakami could be the next big thing in Major League Baseball. After playing eight seasons for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows of the Nippon Professional Baseball League (NPB), Murakami, a two-time NPB MVP, has been posted to MLB teams to negotiate a potential contract. A primary third baseman who also has experience playing first base, Murakami has showcased mammoth power from the left side of the plate, most notably hitting 56 home runs and posting a .710 slugging percentage in 2022. Best Fits: San Francisco Giants, Texas Rangers, Cleveland Guardians

Want a potent, left-handed hitter with postseason experience who’s also great with the glove? If so, then you’re in luck, because outfielder Kyle Tucker is a free agent. The soon-to-be 29-year-old Tucker is among the best all-around players in the sport. He has a long, powerful swing from the left side, seldom strikes out and is a terrific right fielder. READ MORE.

Kyle Schwarber led the National League in home runs (56) and RBIs (132) in 2025. (Photo by Aaron Gash/MLB Photos via Getty Images)

Best fits: Atlanta Braves, Texas Rangers, Cincinnati Reds

Schwarber would be booed out of Citizens Bank Park if he leaves the Phillies for the NL East-rival Braves, but from a sheer fit point of view, he’s perfect for Atlanta. READ MORE.

Best fits: New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers, Pittsburgh Pirates

Last season, which Eugenio Suarez split between the Seattle Mariners and Arizona Diamondbacks, he uncorked 49 home runs and posted a .526 slugging percentage. If a team is looking for power, then the third baseman fits the bill and then some. READ MORE.
