A coach for a Connecticut youth soccer crew has been busted for shoving a 7-year-old participant from the opposing crew to the bottom, based on police.
Daniel Fazio, 38, an assistant coach with the New Milford Bulls, allegedly roughed up the child on the sector throughout a recreation in opposition to the Water-Oak Youth Soccer Workforce, WFSB reported.
The kid was not injured, however Fazio was promptly fired and arrested.
“[We] don’t condone the latest conduct displayed by our former assistant coach,” the Bulls mentioned in an announcement. “The conduct of the person shouldn’t be consultant of the feelings, ethical compass, or values of the whole thing of this system.”
Fazio was charged with second-degree breach of peace, disorderly conduct and threat of harm to a toddler.
He posted a $20,000 bond and is scheduled to seem in courtroom Oct. 2.
