The late daughter of Priscilla and Elvis Presley is alleged to have left the church round 2013 and confronted him on the church’s Florida headquarters after spending years investigating them.
As reported by Web page Six, in her new memoir Softly, As I Depart You Priscilla has claimed: “Her misgivings reached a disaster [when David] disconnected from his father [Ron Miscavige] and put him within the equal of a Scientology jail at a secluded location within the San Bernardino Mountains…
“Lisa had had sufficient. Fearless and indignant, my daughter walked into the attention of the storm and confronted David instantly.
“She instructed him with nice anger and fervour simply how she felt about him ‘disconnecting’ from his father. Lisa was by no means delicate when she was indignant.”
Priscilla has alleged “the aftermath was scary for” her Lisa Marie, who died aged 54 in 2023.
She continued: “She known as me from Florida after her go to to headquarters and mentioned, ‘Mother, I’m so scared. I gave it to David, and now they’re following me.
“‘There are black limos parked outdoors my home and following me round. That is actual. That is what they do.’”
A consultant for Scientology has described Priscilla’s account as “false”, arguing that Lisa Marie did not share the story in her personal memoir.
In a press release to Web page Six, they alleged: “Earlier than her passing, Lisa Marie got here to the Church and apologized for any earlier upsets, explaining that she had been misled and betrayed by others, together with Ron Miscavige. She mentioned she had been impaired by medicine and wished to make amends.”
The spokesperson claimed the church tried to assist the Presley household by way of “years of wrestle”.
They added: “Removed from distancing Priscilla from her household, each effort was made to assist her mend and strengthen these relationships.”
