Following the Oscar-winning actor’s demise earlier this month aged 79, the actress spoke to Entry Hollywood on the premiere of her new Hulu collection All’s Honest concerning the loss, with Sarah, 50, saying she was struggling to return to phrases with the passing.
She stated: “She was a really pricey buddy of mine, so it’s not one thing I’m capable of speak about but. I’m not capable of speak about it. However all I can say, and I’ve been saying tonight, which is essential to me to speak, is that what you thought she was as a performer, she was much more spectacular as a human being.”
Sarah and Diane first met whereas filming the 1999 film The Different Sister, during which Diane performed her fellow actress’ on-screen mom.
The pair remained shut pals for the following 25 years till Diane’s demise.
Sarah added: “I used to be the luckiest individual on this planet to have had her in my life the way in which that I did.”
On the identical occasion, the star spoke to The Hollywood Reporter and described the loss as “profoundly unhappy”.
