Kelly wrote on Instagram: “Final evening I had the honour of accepting my father’s lifetime achievement award on his behalf on the @birminghamawards.
“I can not thank everybody sufficient for his or her love and help. I do know that my dad was shining down on us from heaven with delight as a result of being a #Brummy meant extra to him than something. He beloved town and he beloved the individuals.”
The 40-year-old star added: “This honour would have meant the world to him. From the underside of my coronary heart thanks. #birminghamforever.”
Kelly defined final month that falconry had helped her come to phrases along with her father’s passing and allowed her to find her “smile once more”.
Sharing a snap of herself with one of many birds on her Instagram Tales, Kelly penned: “In all my disappointment and grief, I’ve discovered one thing that makes me comfortable!

The star – who collaborated with Ozzy on a UK chart-topping cowl of Black Sabbath’s Modifications in 2003 – had described her father’s loss of life as “the toughest second of my life” within the aftermath of the tragic information.
