One of many escaped monkeys in Mississippi was shot and killed Sunday morning by a mother who informed the Related Press she feared for the protection of her youngsters.
The AP stories Jessica Bond Ferguson — a mother-of-five residing in Heidelberg, Mississippi — was alerted to a monkey working within the yard exterior their dwelling by her 16-year-old son this morning … and, when she appeared, she says the monkey was simply 60 ft from her dwelling.

13 had been coralled by authorities, 5 had been shot on sight after a supervisor mistakenly claimed the monkeys had been contaminated with COVID, herpes, and hepatitis C — authorities later clarified they weren’t — however three escaped into the wild.
One of many different three monkeys was discovered and captured by authorities Sunday as effectively … so, it seems just one continues to be on the free.
