Jessie J says ex-partner Channing Tatum had no qualms together with her mentioning him in her new music Difficult.

The Worth Tag hitmaker references the actor’s 2012 flick Magic Mike – wherein he portrayed the titular stripper – on the monitor on her newest LP Do not Tease Me With A Good Time and she or he has revealed the Hollywood star heard the music earlier than it was launched and gave it his seal of approval.
Jessie, who dated Channing between 2018 and 2020, advised The Guardian: “I performed him the music to see if he is OK with it and he was.”
She sings: “2017 glided by ‘trigger I needed / 2018 to be mine and be trustworthy.
“Met a Magic Mike, will that ever be forgotten? ‘Trigger every thing they write / That is the headline and the subject.”
The 37-year-old singer – who has two-year-old son Sky with companion Chanan Safir Colman – hailed Channing “such a candy man”.
She gushed: “Oh, he is so candy. Oh my God, yeah! Channing is such a candy man.”
Jessie added: “We have been such good associates and had such a very good time collectively.”
Whereas she mentions Channing on Difficult, Jessie has denied hypothesis that the monitor Threw It Away is a diss aimed the 45-year-old star.
Hypothesis was sparked by the fiery lyrics: “Do not ya dare rewrite the story. I am the sweetness, you are the beast.”
Taking to her Instagram Tales this week, she mentioned: “Threw it away is NOT about @channingtatum I NEVER mentioned it was.
“The rationale I’m saying one thing is as a result of I do know if the shoe was on the opposite foot he would right the narrative too.”
She continued: “I might by no means need his stunning daughter to ever learn any of it or be advised about it considering I mentioned it about her Dad. Not honest.
“Channing and I ended our relationship on nice phrases and I’ve nothing however respect for him, he was by no means a beast to me.”
