Police Investigate Suspicious Deaths in Brossard Home
Authorities have launched a major crimes investigation after two bodies were discovered inside a residence in Brossard, Quebec. Emergency responders arrived at the Bienvenue Avenue property around 12:45 a.m. Monday following reports of an armed assault.
Officers located a 54-year-old woman and 56-year-old man with traumatic injuries at the scene. Medical personnel pronounced both individuals deceased. Police have established a command post in the area as forensic teams process evidence.
Possible Murder-Suicide Under Investigation
While investigators haven’t confirmed the victims’ connection to the property, officials stated they’re examining all possibilities including a potential murder-suicide. The circumstances leading to the discovery remain under active investigation.
“We’re treating this as a suspicious death investigation until evidence proves otherwise,” a police representative confirmed. No suspect information has been released to the public at this time.
