Influencer Lorna Luxe posts a never-before-seen video of her late husband John enjoying their favorite restaurant, Cecconi’s Mayfair, days after his death from cancer.
The 43-year-old shared the clip on her Instagram Stories Friday, capturing 64-year-old John savoring cacio e pepe spaghetti at the upscale venue.
She captioned the heartfelt post: “Cecconi’s Mayfair is our place… I never shared this vid I’m not sure why, but John and cacio and pepe.”
John’s Battle with Stage Four Cancer
John, 21 years Lorna’s senior, faced stage four adrenal cancer following his April 2023 diagnosis. The couple, married 16 years, regularly updated her 1.6 million followers on his treatment.
Remission arrived in November 2023, but the cancer returned in May 2024 and spread to his brain. Last month, Lorna revealed the disease had progressed further, leaving treatment unviable.
Emotional Announcement of His Passing
Lorna announced John’s death Thursday on Instagram: “My beautiful, brave John died yesterday. I am heartbroken.”
She described their final moments: “We were together to the very end, at home, in our own bed and holding hands which is exactly what he wanted.”
In their last exchange, John replied to her question about his condition: “Rough but in love,” highlighting his characteristic directness and affection.
Lorna thanked district nurses, especially Anna, whom she called a “real-life angel,” and her mother for enabling those final days at home.

Celebrities rallied with messages of condolence. Sophie Hinchliffe, known as Mrs Hinch, wrote: “Lorna I am so, so sorry. My heart truly dropped reading this. I’ve followed your page for such a long time, and the love you and John share has always been so inspiring… Millions of us are here to help hold you up.”
