Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper has drawn sharp criticism for declining an invitation to appear on GB News, where journalist Camilla Tominey sought to question her on Labour Party matters.
Tominey Challenges Labour Ministers’ Absence
During Sunday morning’s GB News program, presenters Mark White and Anne Diamond discussed Cooper’s no-show with Tominey. White remarked, “Once again the Foreign Secretary is avoiding your show – she’s frit, isn’t she?”
Tominey ed frustration over Labour leaders skipping her show, noting that Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Chancellor Rachel Reeves have also never appeared. She praised those who accept invitations, stating, “If you can’t face a grilling by me on behalf of the public, then literally what is the point of you?”
Tominey added, “We don’t know why they run scared beyond the idea that they are a little bit frightened of being Tominied on a Sunday morning.”
