Upcoming Hollyoaks episodes feature three popular characters exploring an open relationship, shaking up the village dynamics.
Mercedes Proposes Bold Throuple Arrangement
Mercedes McQueen, played by Jennifer Metcalfe, suggests sharing Warren Fox, portrayed by Jamie Lomas, with her love rival Gemma Johnson, acted by Tisha Merry. The storyline unfolds next week on Channel 4.
Gemma travels to Liverpool to uncover details about her father, Mick Johnson, also known as Donny Clark (Louis Emerick). She finds solace with her intermittent partner Warren, and they spend the night together. The following morning, Warren feels reassured when Gemma expresses no regrets about their encounter.
Meanwhile, at the rehab center, Mercedes finishes her final therapy session. Her friend Nikki Shadwick (Suzanne Collins) playfully teases her about her attraction to men before they part ways. Back home, Myra (Nicole Barber-Lane) and the McQueen family joyfully welcome Mercedes.
Spotting Warren entering the Maalik household next door, Mercedes makes her intentions clear. She arrives with a direct proposal: both she and Gemma maintain relationships with Warren. The suggestion surprises both Warren and Gemma.
Rex Explores Identity in Secret
In another village storyline, Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) orders women’s clothing to the garage using a false name. Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) mistakenly believes it’s a wrong delivery and sends it away, but Ro Hutchinson (Leo Cole) notices.
Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher) sorts through her dresses for an upcoming party. Ro recommends refreshing her wardrobe and volunteers to donate the clothes.
Outside the garage, Ro leaves the bag with Rex under a pretext. At home, Rex tries on Diane’s clothes but hides when his grandfather Froggy Black (John Middleton) arrives unexpectedly.
Later, Ro confronts Rex at the garage, revealing he knows the secret. Rex shares his journey of self-discovery through cross-dressing. Ro responds supportively, noting that Ste accepts him as he is.
Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday at 7pm on E4, with first-look episodes available on Channel 4 streaming from 7am.
