Swansea City supporters are auctioning souvenir towels distributed at a recent match for more than £100 on eBay. The items, themed around Snoop Dogg, quickly became hot collectibles after the rapper’s appearance at the stadium.
Snoop Dogg’s Debut at Swansea.com Stadium
During Tuesday night’s Championship match against Preston North End at Swansea.com Stadium, the Swans secured a 1-1 draw. However, attention centered on legendary US rapper Snoop Dogg, whose reported net worth stands at £118 million. This marked his first attendance since acquiring a minority stake in the club last summer.
Before kick-off, Snoop Dogg received a warm introduction from the crowd. He completed a lap around the pitch as approximately 20,000 fans waved free souvenir towels emblazoned with ‘Make Some Noise.’
Explosive Demand for Memorabilia
The towels have sparked a frenzy online. Listings on eBay show one item priced at £103.66 as of Thursday morning, with others attracting bids between £36 and £40.01.
The electric atmosphere underscores Snoop Dogg’s growing influence at Swansea City. The club now offers a dedicated ‘Swansea City x Snoop Dogg’ merchandise line, including T-shirts, hoodies, and jackets priced from £25 to £60.
