Arsenal clinched a hard-fought 2-1 win over Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium, extending their lead at the top of the Premier League by five points ahead of Manchester City. The Gunners capitalized on set-pieces with goals from William Saliba and Jurrien Timber, while Chelsea leveled just before halftime from a corner. A late Liam Delap tap-in for the Blues was disallowed for offside.

Arsenal Player Ratings (4-2-3-1)

David Raya – 8.5
Delivered a standout performance, intercepting Martin Zubimendi’s misplaced pass and blocking a corner deflection off Declan Rice. Sealed the victory by stopping Alejandro Garnacho’s injury-time effort.

Jurrien Timber – 7.5
Provided solid defending and attacking threat, heading in Declan Rice’s corner for the decisive goal.

William Saliba – 7
Dominated aerial battles and opened the scoring with a header off Mamadou Sarr.

Gabriel Magalhaes – 6.5
Prevailed in physical duels against Joao Pedro; his corner header assisted Saliba’s opener.

Piero Hincapie – 7.5
Impressed with forward surges and defensive reliability, despite an unfortunate own goal.

Martin Zubimendi – 5.5
Struggled under pressure, nearly gifting Chelsea a goal with a wayward pass saved by Raya.

Declan Rice – 6.5
Battled fiercely in midfield and delivered the key corner for Timber’s winner, though he uncharacteristically conceded a corner late on.

Bukayo Saka – 6
Worked to link play and supplied the looping corner leading to Saliba’s goal.

Eberechi Eze – 5.5
Lacked precision after a strong showing last week, wasting chances including a chip at Robert Sanchez.

Leandro Trossard – 4.5
Struggled with poor passes that exposed Arsenal; substituted on 56 minutes but deserved an earlier exit.

Viktor Gyokeres – 6.5
Pressured Sanchez relentlessly, unsettling the keeper and offering strong hold-up play.

Substitutes:
Gabriel Martinelli – 7 | Kai Havertz – N/A | Christian Norgaard – N/A

Manager: Mikel Arteta – 6.5
Maintained composure at 1-1, securing a vital win with City lurking.

Chelsea Player Ratings (4-2-3-1)

Robert Sanchez – 5
Almost conceded early after losing possession to Gyokeres; lacked command on set-pieces for both Arsenal goals.

Reece James – 7
Excelled with crossing, his corner producing Chelsea’s equalizer despite losing out aerially earlier.

Mamadou Sarr – 6
Made his Premier League debut; volleyed wide early and deflected Saliba’s header in.

Trevoh Chalobah – 6
Handled Gyokeres effectively in one-on-ones, denying a penalty claim.

Jorrel Hato – 6.5
Shouldered defensive duties without Cucurella, containing Saka and pushing forward.

Andrey Santos – 5.5
Failed to mark Saliba on the opener amid chaos; limited midfield impact.

Moises Caicedo – 5.5
Avoided a booking but midfield lacked creativity.

Pedro Neto – 2
Ineffective on the wing and received a second yellow, derailing Chelsea’s hopes.

Cole Palmer – 5
Found space but couldn’t convert; shook off an injury concern.

Enzo Fernandez – 5
Protested a non-awarded penalty on Rice’s handball; substituted after dissent booking.

Joao Pedro – 5.5
Battled Gabriel without referee intervention on potential fouls.

Substitutes:
Malo Gusto – 5.5 | Romeo Lavia – 6.5 | Liam Delap – N/A | Alejandro Garnacho – N/A | Tosin Adarabioyo – N/A

Manager: Liam Rosenior – 5.5
Chelsea dominated early in the second half at 1-1 but self-destructed with a red card.
