Motorists who witnessed a three-vehicle collision on the M6 northbound near Stafford are asked to contact authorities. The incident occurred around 11 a.m. on Monday, March 16, between Junction 14 (Stafford) and Junction 15 (Stoke-on-Trent).
Incident Details
All lanes closed temporarily while emergency services managed the scene, causing significant traffic hold-ups. By lunchtime, one lane remained closed, with drivers facing approximately 30-minute delays. Medics assessed two individuals at the scene, but no serious injuries were reported.
Police Appeal for Information
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson stated: “We are appealing for information following a collision on the M6 motorway, near Stafford, today. Officers went to a three-vehicle collision between junction 14 and junction 15 of the northbound carriageway. All lanes were closed northbound while we dealt with the incident. All but one lane are now back open. West Midlands Ambulance Service also attended the scene. No serious injuries have been reported.
