Married At First Sight bride Alissa Fay accuses Gia Fleur of manipulative tactics in a heated power struggle with Bec Zacharia, revealing she served as an unwitting pawn in the conflict.
The Hidden Drama Behind the Scenes
Alissa, 33, describes how Gia allegedly played both sides to undermine Bec while ensuring her own position. “It was just Gia wanting to use someone to get through and hurt Bec as usual. It’s the middle man bulls**t that continues throughout this whole season,” Alissa states.
She claims the on-screen tension represents only a portion of the real events. “Those girls will use anyone to fight against each other… if it’s not me, it’s someone else,” Alissa adds, highlighting the escalating rivalry.
Alissa further alleges Gia orchestrated the infamous screenshot scandal by throwing Juliette under the bus. The fallout ensnared Alissa and her husband David, straining their relationship. “They were really hurtful… and you just can’t really come back from something like that,” she reveals.
Rebuilding Friendships and Betrayal
Despite efforts to move forward, Alissa had started mending ties with both Gia and Bec. “I was letting those girls back into my life… I was starting to build a friendship with Gia. I had forgiven Bec and was moving forward there,” she shares.
However, renewed drama left her blindsided. “Then to be caught up in it again, I was just thinking, why am I so forgiving? Why am I so stupid? I look like an idiot,” Alissa admits. She and David faced constant targeting despite attempts to avoid the chaos. “David and I were in the firing line continuously, even though we were just trying to shut it down and move forward in our relationship.”
Unseen Footage Corroborates Claims
Unseen clips from the latest MAFS After the Dinner Party episode appear to back Alissa’s account. Audio captures Gia urging a distressed Juliette to share screenshots and warning Bec of impending developments. In another segment, Gia shifts tactics, advising caution as it becomes a “losing battle.”
Alissa insists producers omitted significant context. “There are things missing, there are storylines missed… there’s so much drama and so much noise. There is so much context missing. There is so much cut out.” Her stark warning: “You haven’t seen sh*t… you have not seen how bad it really was.”
Despite Bec’s apologies, Alissa sees no path to reconciliation. “No, there is a lot of repetitive behaviour from Bec… I don’t think you can come back from that.” The experience has profoundly affected her friendships and marriage. “I didn’t know that I was gonna be back in high school… I signed up for a husband and I got a lot of drama in my way.”
The ‘Top Dog’ battle persists as Married At First Sight approaches its finale on Channel Nine.
