A 53-year-old motorcyclist lost his life in a collision involving three vehicles in the Scottish Borders.
Incident Details
The crash occurred around 12:40 on Saturday along the A72 near Innerleithen. It involved a black Yamaha YBR 125 motorbike, a grey Citroen C4 Picasso, and a yellow Citroen DS3. Emergency services pronounced the rider dead at the scene, with no other injuries reported.
Police Response and Investigation
Authorities closed the road for eight hours to investigate the circumstances. Enquiries continue, and police urge witnesses to come forward.
