Spencer Matthews and Vogue Williams displayed their affection with a passionate kiss while enjoying a family beach day in St. Barts on Thursday. The couple, joined by their children Gigi, Theodore, and Otto, soaked up the sunshine and appeared deeply in love.
Idyllic Beach Moments
Spencer, 37, went shirtless, showcasing his golden tan in vibrant Hawaiian shorts. He layered with a bold shirt reading ‘Sun, sea and sand’ to shield from the intense rays. Vogue, 40, turned heads in a shell-emblazoned T-shirt paired with a blue and brown mini skirt, complemented by a white baseball cap and dark sunglasses.
The pair cuddled on a lounger, with Vogue wrapping her arms around Spencer as they exchanged kisses amid the idyllic setting.
Dispelling Breakup Rumors
Vogue recently addressed persistent breakup rumors, emphasizing their solid relationship. In an Instagram post, she stated: ‘It’s with great sadness that I have to let you know that Spen and I are NOT breaking up! I usually avoid addressing baseless and cruel rumours, but this just keeps coming up.’
She expressed concern over the impact on their children, adding: ‘It’s disappointing to see this narrative being pushed almost daily when it’s absolutely not true, and much more importantly, I don’t want my children hearing these lies in the playground. We’re not sure what the angle is or where it’s coming from, but the whole thing feels very strange and mean. We’re very happily married and in love and I hope posting the truth on my own platform might make it stop.’
Vogue noted that such denials haven’t quelled the gossip, saying: ‘Of course not! I’ll probably not bother next time. You’re just wasting your energy. I feel like I’ve hit a point in my life where it only matters what I know and what our truth is.’
She affirmed: ‘We’re happy, our relationship is solid, and we’re having a great time, our kids are happy, and that’s all that matters.’
Career Dynamics and Competition
Spencer recently discussed the challenges of competing with Vogue for professional opportunities. On Matt Willis’ On the Mend podcast, he explained: ‘She’s an incredible woman, you know? Anyone that’s met my wife, you know, immediately loves her. She’s easily the favourite of the two of us.’
He reflected on their joint projects, including The Spencer and Vogue Show and their podcast, Spencer & Vogue, where rivalry emerged: ‘So that of course is the sense of competition, like who’s funnier? We’re constantly competing. We’re having little jabs at each other on camera.’
Spencer chose to pivot toward performance and sports, allowing Vogue to pursue TV presenting. He shared: ‘I’ve never wanted to be a TV presenter. So having those differences in what we do has been really helpful. When she lands something, I’m really proud of her. Whereas when we were together and doing similar stuff and she would get something that I was potentially interested in, it was a bit like, you’re happy for your partner obviously, but it’s also a bit of a kick in the teeth.’
He concluded: ‘That creates, not issues, but there is a slight competition is probably a good word for it. If you’re in a competitive scenario with your partner it can be a bit grating.’
