A 33-year-old zookeeper faces arrest in Japan after confessing to placing his wife’s body inside an animal incinerator at a wildlife park.
Shocking Confession Emerges
Authorities suspect Tatsuya Suzuki transported the remains of his wife, Yui Suzuki, also 33, to the facility and burned them in the crematorium. He was taken into custody on Wednesday for allegedly mutilating a corpse.
Missing Person Report Leads to Breakthrough
Relatives reported Yui missing on April 23, following loss of contact in late March. Officers reached out to the zoo that day and spoke with Suzuki voluntarily. During questioning, Suzuki admitted, “I disposed of my wife’s body in the incinerator.”
Investigators later recovered portions of her remains from the site, confirming the grim details of the case.
