A teenager tragically lost his life after a falling tree struck him in Stafford. Emergency responders rushed to Holmcroft Road in the Holmcroft area around 6:30 p.m.
Paramedics from the West Midlands Ambulance Service and Midlands Air Ambulance attended the scene. Despite their determined efforts, the boy was pronounced dead shortly after 7:30 p.m.
Police Investigation Underway
A large police cordon remains in place at the location. Authorities urge the public to avoid the area during ongoing enquiries.
Staffordshire Police spokesperson stated: “A teenage boy has sadly died after being injured by a fallen tree in Stafford. Officers arrived at Holmcroft Road soon after the report. They worked alongside paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service and Midlands Air Ambulance. Tragically, nothing could be done to save the boy, who was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 7:30 p.m. His next of kin have been informed.”
