How the Challenge Works
The interactive quiz requires players to drag and drop words to form a chain where each word is a synonym of the one preceding it. The scoring system evaluates the accuracy of each adjacent word pair within the sequence.
Scoring Breakdown:
- Perfect (+50): Awarded when the selected word is the exact correct next synonym in the chain.
- Close (+30): Given when the selected word is within two positions of the correct placement.
- Near (+10): Earned for placements within four positions of the correct sequence.
- Off (+0): Applied when the selected word is more than four positions away from its correct spot.
The aim of the challenge is to see how well individuals can identify and order words with similar meanings. It’s designed to be a quick and engaging way to gauge one’s vocabulary proficiency.
