Man Wanted in Connection with Parents’ Deaths
Authorities are searching for a 46-year-old man following the deaths of his parents in Mississauga, Ontario. Peel Regional Police confirmed the fatalities occurred Thursday after an assault at a residence.
Incident Details
Officers responded to a call at approximately 7 p.m. near the intersection of Hurontario Street and Lakeshore Road East. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals, aged 70 and 71, suffering from critical injuries. Both were transported to a local hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased.
Suspect Identified
Investigators have identified Jordan Sangwin as the individual sought in connection with the incident. Police believe Sangwin is the son of the deceased couple. He is considered armed and dangerous, however, officials have stated there is no immediate risk to public safety.
Current information suggests Sangwin did not reside at the home where the assault took place.
