Radio 1 presenter Lauren Layfield, 38, has joyfully announced the birth of her first child, a baby boy named Kit. The news comes after Layfield and her husband, Luke Beddows, navigated an IVF journey. Baby Kit arrived a couple weeks ago (born raving to Fatboy Slim) and after saying we’d NEVER have kids…it was absolute love at first sight. He is the sweetest thing.” She humorously added a thought about whether the IVF clinic might have mixed up embryos, joking about ending up with a child from a “much more good-looking couple.” However, she quickly affirmed her overwhelming love, stating, “Anyway, I’m keeping him because I’m OBSESSED.”
