Over 1,700 applied but there is always something that stands out. We always chose one of these bands to open the festival – an important slot to set the mood for the weekend.”
Cemm described multiscreen’s sound as “deadpan electro-pop odes to divorcing your smartphone,” a fitting description for their unique electronic style. Perfect Binding, on the other hand, delivered a robust rendition of their lo-fi studio sound, amplified by the dynamic combination of trombone, bass, and drums. Cemm noted that the Folly stage, typically favoring rock and Americana acts, was a natural and fitting venue for Perfect Binding’s energetic performance.
