Jonathan Trott has been appointed as the new head coach of the England Lions, the national team’s developmental squad. The former England batsman takes over the role ahead of the Lions’ upcoming winter schedule, which includes tours of the West Indies, South Africa, and Sri Lanka. Trott replaces Andrew Flintoff, who departed the position earlier in the year.
