4-time Gold Glove winner Anthony Rizzo is retiring as a member of the Chicago Cubs, capping a profession that spanned 14 main league seasons.

Rizzo, 36, is a three-time All-Star first baseman and served as a key cog in serving to the Cubs win the 2016 World Collection and snap their 108-year championship drought. After spending his first season with the San Diego Padres, Rizzo performed for Chicago in elements of 10 seasons earlier than ending his profession with the New York Yankees.

The Cubs plan to honor Rizzo on Saturday throughout their sport in opposition to the visiting Tampa Bay Rays.
