Anya Taylor-Joy Shares Love Story
Anya recently reflected on her romance with husband Malcolm McRae during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. The pair share a birthday on April 16.
She recounts their meeting: “We met in a music studio and he’s like, I do. I love him. We’re born on the same day. So that was the first thing he ever said to me.”
“When’s your birthday?” he asked. “April 16th,” she replied. “I knew it,” he said.
“I love him so much,” Anya gushes. “I’m so lucky.”
She adds wisdom from her father: “You’re not looking for another half to make you whole, that you are whole. And if you’re lucky enough, you meet another whole, and then you become a greater sum of your parts.”
Anya praises her partner: “He provides a soil that’s really nutritious and safe. He’s the best.”
