Oscar-winner Ariana DeBose is mourning the lack of her mom, Gina Michelle DeBose, who has died at age 57 after battling Stage 3 ovarian most cancers.
The “West Facet Story” actor and Broadway star introduced her mom’s demise Tuesday on Instagram, sharing images of the 2 of them through the years — from the youthful DeBose’s childhood to her historic win on the Academy Awards in 2022.
“I couldn’t be extra pleased with her and the way she fought this insidious illness over the previous 3 years,” DeBose wrote.
Ariana DeBose, 34, stated in her tribute that her mom was her “favourite individual, my greatest fan and hardest critic. The actor stated her mom was a longtime public college trainer who devoted her life to educating younger individuals.
