Thalia Zane handed away “surrounded by her family members” shortly after her birthday, actor Billy, 59, stated in an announcement on Instagram on Wednesday (03.12.25).

“Thalia G.Zane has left us quickly after her super ninety fifth birthday at The Ritz, surrounded by her family members in her beloved downtown Chicago.
“They couldn’t make the mould to interrupt it! She was out the door, blazing a path with us all in tow.
“A dynamo with unimaginable humor, nice style and sufficient inventive and emotional assist for associates and prolonged household and people lucky to only get to work with and even meet her.
“A superb egg. An incredible Dame. An exquisite mom. And a loyal and loving spouse of 67 years. Relaxation in peace Thal. Hug Dad for me. (sic)”
Thalia – who was married to William Zane Sr., who died from COVID-19 in 2020 – is survived by Billy, their 64-year-old daughter, actress Lisa Zane, and their grandchildren, Ava, 14, and 11 12 months outdated Gia.
