Identical twins Alisa Fraser and Lysandra Fraser, renowned from their 2013 win on The Block: Sky High, prepare to sell their thriving skincare and cleaning brand, al.ive, potentially netting at least $25 million.
From TV Stars to Business Moguls
The Adelaide-based interior designers gained fame after clinching victory in 2013, pocketing $295,000 in auction profits plus $100,000 in prize money, totaling $395,000. They launched their design studio in 2014 and expanded into products with al.ive body and al.ive skin in 2020, offering premium, natural personal care and home essentials.
al.ive’s Rapid Growth
Launched amid the COVID-19 pandemic, al.ive capitalized on surging online shopping. The brand generated $70,000 in sales during its debut month. E-commerce growth and demand from boutique online stores fueled its success.
Half of the business’s $30 million annual revenue stems from online sales, with the remainder from wholesale partnerships, including major retailer Myer. ASIC records confirm the sisters own the company 50/50.
Sale Process Underway
The Frasers have engaged boutique advisory firm Lempriere Wells to manage the sale. Insiders indicate they target a minimum $25 million payout for the high-performing venture.
The Inspiration Behind al.ive
The concept emerged post-renovation of their Albert Park project. “We sat on the beach reflecting on how tough it was to source unique hand and body products that matched our home’s aesthetic while delivering natural, non-toxic formulas,” Alisa explained.
Instead of partnering with existing brands, they built al.ive from scratch. “We envisioned perfection in design and formulation, which proved emotionally and financially demanding,” Lysandra noted. “Yet it was essential for a personal care line blending luxury, integrity, and appeal to conscious consumers.”
TV Legacy Continues
Before The Block, the twins served as police officers. They returned in 2014, securing two Room Reveal wins, and guest-judged in 2022.
