Chloe Pink, wife of North Melbourne defender Toby Pink, expresses outrage after online trolls relentlessly question her ability to conceive due to her weight.
Instagram Outburst Against Relentless Abuse
Pink shares screenshots of the vicious comments on Instagram, highlighting the nonstop harassment. She calls out those liking the insults, urging deep reflection on such behavior.
‘This is a snippet of hate I’ve received… it is relentless and exhausting,’ Pink writes in her final story. She demands accountability: ‘How can you be this cruel? How can you think any of this is OK?’
Pink specifically targets remarks linking her weight to fertility issues. ‘I swear to god, if I get one more comment about my weight in terms of fertility, I’m going to lose my s*it, it is beyond insensitive,’ she states. ‘It is cruel, invasive and deeply hurtful. I cannot understand why so many of you are threatened by the fact my husband and I love each other.’
Pattern of Body-Shaming Harassment
This marks the latest wave of abuse for Pink. In April 2025, she revealed a flood of cruel comments following her wedding photos shared online. Trolls mocked her appearance with remarks like ‘Did he marry a fridge?’, ‘AFL player by day, pig hunter by night,’ and ‘Did he marry an NRL prop forward?’
Similar attacks hit after North Melbourne’s Best and Fairest Awards night. The couple, married in March 2025, faced such vile backlash that comments had to be disabled.
Pink describes the emotional toll: she and Toby cried together over the comments. Her husband remains supportive, affirming her beauty despite the shock. ‘People say bad things about footballers, but they talk about how they play, not their appearances,’ she notes.
‘All because I don’t fit the typical “WAG mould”. Being married to a professional athlete does not give anyone the right to comment on my body or size,’ Pink asserts. She attributes her weight to underlying health conditions, stressing it remains private.
