Claudia Winkleman has confirmed that the lineup for the second series of Celebrity Traitors features several high-profile names, exciting fans ahead of filming.
Excitement on The One Show
During an appearance on The One Show to promote her new BBC chat show, Winkleman addressed questions about the upcoming celebrity edition of the hit series. When asked if viewers could anticipate more ‘big dogs’ in the cast, she enthusiastically confirmed it.
‘There certainly are,’ she stated. ‘The people who make it are extraordinary and they had to repeat the people twice to me because I was like, “Huh, are you joking? Come again?” So, we’re incredibly lucky.’
Stars Eager to Join After Series One Success
Winkleman expressed gratitude for the interest from celebrities following the first series’ triumph. ‘Yeah, I hope so,’ she added. ‘We’re so grateful that people want to come and play the game. And the people who said yes for series one, I still can’t believe it. I was shaking when you see Stephen Fry walking around the castle and Alan Carr, Ruth Codd, all of these people I was obsessed by.’
She concluded with visible enthusiasm: ‘I’m very excited. But I can’t say anything else, don’t make eye contact with me.’
Sources indicate that former EastEnders actor Danny Dyer and This Morning presenter Alison Hammond have signed on for the series, which begins filming in the coming months.
