Savannah Chrisley, the 28-year-old reality TV star, received a warning letter from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) last month for misleading claims on her prescription weight loss website, GoodGirlRX.
FDA Identifies Problematic Language
The FDA reviewed the site and flagged phrases such as “FDA-approved meds,” “FDA-approved options,” and “clinically proven GLP-1 results.” These statements promote compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide products, which lack FDA approval. The agency emphasized that such compounded drugs undergo no evaluation for safety or effectiveness.
Officials notified Chrisley that the website violates federal law and demanded corrections within 15 business days to avoid legal action.
Website Updates and Chrisley’s Response
Recent checks show changes on GoodGirlRX, including swapping “clinically proven results” for “clinically studied results” and adding disclaimers that GLP-1 drugs are not FDA-approved.
Chrisley stated, “This was about website wording, not patient safety. There were no fines and no disciplinary action. We’re proud to help women access licensed physicians and we welcome the FDA’s guidance.”

Chrisley’s Personal Weight Loss Goals
Last November, on her Unlocked podcast, Chrisley shared plans to lose 25 pounds. The 5-foot-7 star weighs nearly 160 pounds and aims for 135.
She discussed past struggles with weight fluctuations and injections that curbed her appetite too much. “My weight has always fluctuated. Always. Like right now, I am almost 160 pounds. Probably more than that,” she said.
Chrisley plans to use tirzepatide, injected weekly, for fewer side effects than alternatives like Ozempic. “I love tirzepatide, which is great,” she noted, adding recent bloodwork to monitor markers like A1C and biological age.
She and her mother, Julie, 53, pursue the goal together, with Julie targeting 20 pounds. Chrisley emphasized feeling good in one’s body: “I want to be skinny. I want people to be like, ‘Is she ok?'” she joked, while committing to consistency.
