Vacuum Incident Leads to Indecency Charges
A 51-year-old Florida man faces criminal charges after authorities reported witnessing a public indecency incident involving a household appliance near Disney World. Kevin Dale Westerhold was arrested in late January following multiple complaints from residents at Windsor Hills Resort in Kissimmee.
Disturbing Community Reports
Law enforcement officials responded to the gated community on January 22 after receiving reports of a partially nude man allegedly performing sexual acts with a vacuum cleaner in a residential area. Authorities confirmed the suspect had left before officers arrived but identified Westerhold through witness statements and video evidence.
“Victims provided photographic evidence showing a partially clothed individual engaged in inappropriate behavior with a household appliance,” stated official law enforcement documents. Further investigation revealed multiple similar incidents of public nudity and indecent exposure dating back to December.
Pattern of Behavior Emerges
Residents provided security footage documenting previous instances where the suspect appeared nude or partially clothed in common areas of the resort property located just minutes from Disney World’s main gates. Community members had reportedly alerted homeowner association officials about the behavior weeks before the vacuum incident.
Westerhold was arrested at his Oviedo residence, approximately 35 miles from the scene, on January 27 and held at Seminole County Jail on $2,500 bond. Records indicate the suspect and his wife own rental properties at Windsor Hills Resort listed on vacation rental platforms.
Ongoing Investigation
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has charged Westerhold with misdemeanor exposure of sexual organs. Authorities encourage anyone with additional information about similar incidents to contact their investigation team.
