Jaclyn Smith, the iconic Charlie’s Angels star, recently turned heads at age 80 with her timeless beauty during an outing in Beverly Hills.
Stylish Beverly Hills Appearance
Smith showcased her slender figure in a flowing striped white blouse paired with fitted oyster-colored jeans that accentuated her long legs. Soft waves of blonde hair framed her classic features, highlighted by elegant makeup. She completed the ensemble with sunglasses, a simple off-white handbag, and comfortable sneakers ideal for a brisk walk through the upscale 90210 neighborhood.
The Houston native appeared focused, chatting animatedly on her cellphone while handling her daily errands.
Career Milestones
Best known for portraying Kelly Garrett in the hit 1970s series Charlie’s Angels, Smith earned a Golden Globe nomination for her lead role in the 1981 TV movie Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, opposite Rod Taylor as her father.
She reprised the character in a cameo for the 2003 film Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, starring Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, and Cameron Diaz, and returned briefly in the 2019 reboot directed by Elizabeth Banks and featuring Kristen Stewart.
Beyond acting, Smith launched successful design ventures, including women’s apparel for Kmart, the Jaclyn Smith Home collection, and a line of wigs.
Personal Life and Wellness Routine
Smith’s first three marriages each lasted less than a decade, but she has been happily wed to heart surgeon Brad Allen since 1997. Allen recently developed a skincare line tailored for her, fueling interest in her enduring youthfulness.
She attributes her glow to a balanced lifestyle, stating, “I don’t drink. I’ve never touched a drug. I exercise daily. I’m married to a heart surgeon who preaches the importance of eating your fruits and vegetables. I enjoy my green drinks. What we put on our bodies shows up on our faces.”
Her refrigerator stocks plenty of fruits and vegetables, and she incorporates green drinks for added nutrition. Yet, she embraces indulgence in moderation: “I eat meat. I’m gonna have my hamburgers and I’m gonna have my pizza. I love cheese. I’ve gotta have my gummy bears. We gotta enjoy life.”
“I think having everything in moderation is so important,” she adds. “If you’re so strict, it’s going to show up on your personality and your face. You will get a little angry for depriving yourself of so much. If you try too hard to be too strict, you will then splurge and it defeats the whole purpose. Everything in moderation is much more rewarding.”
Her fitness routine features Pilates and weights under a trainer’s guidance “who keeps me motivated and challenges me.” Movement remains key, especially as a breast cancer survivor who underwent a lumpectomy and radiation 20 years ago, followed by medication that risks bone loss. “For me, movement is so important. I feel at a certain age, there’s always going to be some sort of bone loss,” she explains.
Living with a fitness enthusiast husband reinforces her habits: “He always says that exercise is as much for your bones as it is for your brain.”
