Jennifer Lopez celebrated her first Coachella performance with a surprise appearance alongside David Guetta, debuting their new track “Save Me Tonight.” The 56-year-old star shared vibrant footage from the event on Instagram, dubbing it a highlight of her “happy era.”

Memorable Festival Moments

“The most fun day!!” Lopez captioned the post. “Save Me Tonight with David live for the first time at MY FIRST COACHELLA was so special. My happy era is rewriting everything. Don’t ever stop surprising yourself.”

The video captured her arrival in Indio, California, via private jet, along with a ride to the festival shared with vocal coach Stevie Mackey. Offstage, she sported a white floral maxi dress, wide-brimmed suede hat, chunky brown leather boots, and a shaggy white coat for a desert vibe.

Onstage, Lopez transformed into a sparkly silver bodysuit paired with thigh-high white stiletto boots encrusted in stones. She started in a hooded white fur coat and sunglasses, later shedding them for a closer connection with fans.

Ongoing ‘Happy Era’ Affirmation

Lopez has embraced her “happy era” for months. In a January Instagram post, she wrote, “Happy era energy.” She elaborated during a March 11 Nightline interview: “I’m in my happy era. I think, for the first time in my life, I feel like I’m free; I’m on my own. And it feels really good. I didn’t really know what that felt like since I was in my early 20s – and even before that. I’ve always had boyfriends. There was always someone in my life, and so many things that I felt like were out of my control.”

This mindset follows the finalization of her divorce from Ben Affleck in February 2025, over a year after she filed on their second wedding anniversary in August 2024. The couple had rekindled their romance in 2021, nearly two decades after postponing their original wedding plans in 2003, and married in 2022.

Las Vegas Residency Wrap-Up

In March, Lopez concluded her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum, posting to her 245 million Instagram followers: “Last show tonight. Full heart. To my band, my crew, my dancers, my background vocalists and every single fan who was part of the most incredible Happy Era, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.” She added, “The best is yet to come.”
