JoJo Siwa radiated joy as she walked down the aisle arm-in-arm with boyfriend Chris Hughes at her brother Jayden’s wedding in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The 22-year-old singer, set to mark her one-year anniversary with the 33-year-old former Love Island star in April, appeared deeply smitten throughout the celebration. Chris’s parents, Paul and Valerie Hughes, traveled from the UK to join the festivities alongside both families.
Elegant Aisle Entrance
JoJo turned heads in a stunning backless silver long-sleeved sequin gown, her long blonde hair styled in a sleek bubble ponytail and elevated by white high heels. Chris complemented her look in a sharp navy suit paired with a pink tie and white shirt.
The couple strolled together to classical music, JoJo clutching a bouquet of vibrant orange flowers. As they approached the altar, she whispered, “This is intense.”
Special Guests and Celebrations
JoJo’s former Dance Moms dance teacher and co-star Abby Lee Miller surprised attendees with her presence. Later, as family members hit the dance floor, JoJo shared on Instagram the sole photo she captured that night: Chris cradling her pet dog. She captioned it, “Only photo I took all night. Don’t worry there was a photographer, but this was the thing that apparently I really cared to get my own camera out for.”
Relationship Milestone
The pair reunited last week at Los Angeles airport, where JoJo shared a warm embrace with Chris and his family. They first connected on Celebrity Big Brother last year, an experience JoJo credits with transforming her life.
Reflecting on Instagram, she wrote about entering the house 10 months ago: “Three weeks with some of the best strangers I’ve ever met, three weeks of letting loose having fun, and three weeks of not even realizing it, but finding myself and comfort and pride within myself.”
She added, “Right around a year ago, I knew I was lost in who I was, but I wasn’t sure how to fix it… 10 months ago entering the Big Brother house. I had no idea that that would be how I truly find myself.” JoJo gushed over their bond: “& If you would’ve told me that I was gonna walk out of that house having met someone that I love more than life itself, I would’ve been fascinated… A love greater than one can imagine, a bond stronger than I knew was possible.”
The couple has mutually described each other as “the one,” with JoJo envisioning a future family. In a recent interview, she shared, “I have names that I really, really like and that I’ve spoken to him about… now that we’re this much further along, I have a relationship with his family. He has a relationship with my family. It just feels like destiny.”
