Kelly Clarkson says she is suspending her Las Vegas residency so she could be along with her youngsters as a result of their father, her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, has been ailing.
“Sadly, I have to postpone the rest of the August Studio Session dates in Las Vegas,” Clarkson introduced in a publish on Instagram. “Whereas I usually maintain my private life non-public, this previous yr, my youngsters’s father has been ailing and at this second, I must be totally current for them.”
The character of Blackstock’s sickness was not disclosed.
Clarkson added: “I’m sincerely sorry to everybody who purchased tickets to the reveals and I so recognize your grace, kindness and understanding.”

The “Since U Been Gone” singer’s remaining reveals on the Colosseum at Caesars Palace this month had been scheduled for Aug. 8-9 and Aug. 15-16. Her subsequent run on the 4,100-capacity venue, which was beforehand introduced, is about for November.

The American Idol alum and music supervisor have two youngsters: River Rose, their 11-year-old daughter, and Remy Alexander, their 9-year-old son.

That is the second postponement of Clarkson’s residency, which opened in July.
