A lady was rescued by firefighters after she was swept miles down San Jose Creek, the Los Angeles County Hearth Division stated Wednesday.
The girl, whose title was not launched, was first noticed within the creek close to Fullerton Street by the 60 Freeway round 1:50 p.m. When firefighters arrived on the scene 17 minutes later, the lady was gone, the Hearth Division stated.
“She went downstream for some time,” stated Pauline McGee, a spokesperson for the L.A. County Hearth Division.
The Hearth Division continued in search of the lady downstream, sending fireplace vans and utilizing a helicopter to attempt to find her, in accordance with footage shot by newsgathering outlet OnScene.TV.
Ultimately, the lady was rescued at Workman Mill Street in San Jose Creek, McGee stated.

McGee stated the lady was taken to the hospital, however her situation was not instantly clear.
The creek is about two toes deep and the water was flowing about eight to 10 miles per hour, McGee stated.
