Morez Johnson Jr. scored 22 factors to steer No. 3 Michigan to a 101-60 win over Rutgers in a Massive Ten contest in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Saturday.

Johnson went 9 of 11 from the sphere for Michigan (8-0, 1-0), which scored not less than 100 factors for the third straight recreation, the primary time it has performed that for the reason that 1989-90 season.

Yaxel Lendeborg had 14 factors and eight rebounds, Trey McKenney scored 13 factors, and Elliot Cadeau had 11 factors and 9 assists to steer Michigan.

The Wolverines shot 60% from the sphere (39 of 65), 44.8% from 3-point vary (13 of 29), and held a 40-29 rebounding benefit.

The Wolverines went forward 97-56 with 4 minutes left and hit the 100-point mark with 2:08 remaining on a pair of free throws by McKenney.

Within the first half, Michigan began to achieve separation early, occurring a 10-2 run to take an 18-6 lead with 11:47 remaining. The Wolverines later went on a 12-2 surge to take a 39-19 lead with 4:51 left on a 3-pointer by Lendeborg.

Michigan held a 50-25 lead at halftime, scoring 34 factors in paint.

Rutgers within the first half had virtually as many turnovers (10) as made discipline objectives (11).
