The Edmonton Oilers positioned newly-acquired No. 1 goaltender Tristan Jarry on injured reserve on Friday with a lower-body damage.
Jarry, who was making his third begin for Edmonton on Thursday, awkwardly stretched throughout the crease late within the second interval at Boston. With 3:52 left within the interval, he slowly skated off the ice and was changed by Calvin Pickard, who stopped all 13 pictures in a 3-1 Oilers’ victory.
