Pixie Geldof flashed a bright smile while sharing lunch with close friends in London’s Primrose Hill, just before the 12th anniversary of her sister Peaches’ death.
Laid-Back Easter Lunch
The 35-year-old model launched the Easter weekend with a upscale meal at Lemonia restaurant on Friday. She turned heads in a sleek black leather jacket paired with dark-rimmed sunglasses, soaking up the bank holiday sun. Pixie beamed throughout the gathering, appearing relaxed and joyful.
Family Tragedies
Sir Bob Geldof’s daughter Peaches died at age 25 on April 7, 2014, from a heroin overdose. This echoed the fate of her mother, Paula Yates, who passed away at 41 from a similar cause in 2000.
Bob and Paula shared three daughters—Fifi, Pixie, and Peaches—before their 1996 divorce. Bob later married actress Jeanne Marine in 2015. She played a key role in supporting the family after Paula’s death, with Bob crediting her for helping his daughters survive their grief. He even proposed to Jeanne shortly after Peaches’ passing, describing it as a moment that “brought air into the room” amid his daughters’ pain.
Following Paula’s death, Bob became legal guardian to her daughter Tiger Lily, whom she had with Michael Hutchence, and formally adopted her in 2007. He raised Tiger away from showbusiness lights.
Stable Family Lives Today
Gerry Agar notes, “Tiger was totally raised and totally loved by Bob’s wife Jeanne, so she has such stability. They have been very strict with her and Tiger is incredibly unlike Peaches. She wants to please them.”
The family now leads private lives with spouses and children. Tiger recently became the last of Bob’s daughters to marry, following Pixie and Fifi.
Pixie wed These New Puritans drummer George Barnett in 2017 during a lavish Majorca ceremony. Bridesmaids included Alexa and Daisy Lowe, with guests like Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, and Nick Grimshaw. The couple welcomed a daughter in August 2021 but keeps her name and public appearances private. Pixie builds her modeling career—starting with Tatler’s 2008 cover—and has pursued music as Violet’s lead singer and with her 2016 solo release I’m Yours. The pair often appears together at events, including Milan Fashion Week in February.
Fifi’s Low Profile
Eldest sister Fifi, 42, works in PR and shuns publicity, earning her the self-described title of “unknown Geldof.” She married Andrew Robertson in 2016 at St Mary Magdalene and St Lawrence church in Kent—the same site where Paula and Peaches are buried. Fifi chose not to include Pixie and Tiger Lily as bridesmaids, feeling it unfair without Peaches.
