A Home Victory for Sinner
This triumph holds extra meaning for Sinner, who resides in Monaco. During his victory speech on stage with the royals nearby, the Italian champion opened by ing gratitude to them.
“Firstly, I want to thank Prince Albert, Princess Charlene, and Melanie,” Sinner stated. “Thank you so much for making this event possible with all the sponsors. For us, it’s a huge pleasure. For me, more living here, and living this moment, it means a lot to me. So thank you so much.”
Congratulations to Alcaraz
Sinner then turned to Alcaraz, who claimed the title here last year but could not defend it. “Of course, Carlos, congrats to you and your team,” he continued. “You’re doing amazing things year after year, and you keep showing why you are the player you are, achieving things what nobody else achieved before with your age.”
“Facing you, especially in finals, at the end of the tournament, it makes it even more special, so thank you so much. I wish you all the best for the rest of the season.”
