Two girls pretending to be rideshare drivers robbed a vacationer at gunpoint within the Gold Coast early Sunday after convincing him they had been his experience, based on Chicago police.
The 44-year-old man instructed officers he was ready for a rideshare pickup within the 1000 block of North State Road round 1:45 a.m. when a Toyota SUV with two girls pulled up and claimed to be his driver.
