Marking Two Decades of Bond
Victoria Beckham recently highlighted her enduring friendship with Tana Ramsay and Jo Manoukian, marking 20 years of close ties. On Thursday, the fashion designer shared an Instagram repost of a montage featuring the trio, capturing moments from 2005 to the present. This heartfelt gesture comes as the group supported one another during personal challenges.
Beckham extended invitations to Ramsay and Manoukian for a special event in Paris, where she received the distinguished Knight of the National Order of Arts and Letters. This French government honor recognizes outstanding contributions to the arts, literature, or culture. Notable past recipients include George Clooney, Tim Burton, and Kylie Minogue.
Family Support at the Ceremony
During the Paris ceremony, Beckham was joined by her husband, David Beckham, and their children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper. Romeo and Cruz also brought their girlfriends, Kim Turnbull and Jackie Apostel, showing strong family solidarity. Notably absent were Beckham’s eldest son, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, 26, and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.
The event occurred exactly one week after Brooklyn shared a lengthy six-page statement on Instagram. In it, he expressed no interest in reconciling with his family, accusing them of manipulating media narratives and failing to support his marriage to Nicola.
Since the statement, the Beckham family has maintained silence on the ongoing tensions, focusing instead on positive moments.
Tana Ramsay’s Parallel Family Struggles
Like Beckham, Tana Ramsay, wife of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, has navigated her own family conflicts. In December, Tana’s daughter Holly Ramsay married Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty. Leading up to the wedding, reports surfaced of a rift between the Ramsay and Peaty families, with Adam’s parents, Caroline and Mark, reportedly excluded from the celebration.
The tension reportedly stemmed from Holly’s hen party at Soho Farmhouse in November, where Adam’s mother, Caroline, was not invited. Adam’s aunt, Louise Williams, addressed the issue in a now-private Instagram post, stating: “@hollyramsayy I’m so glad that you had a great hen do. As a bride, you deserve that. However, as a person, you were divisive and hurtful towards a woman who I have loved and continue to love deeply.”
Williams continued: “A woman who opened her home and heart to you. You decided, for whatever reason, not to invite her, your prospective mother-in-law, to your hen night, yet Adam invited his father-in-law, your dad, to his stag night. You invited your mum (quite rightly) and even your mum’s assistant, your sisters, your friends, my niece, but not my sister, your future mother-in-law. I have also seen messages passing between her and Adam about this and other matters, and, quite frankly, I expected better of you and definitely of Adam. You have inflicted a hurt on my sister that will take a very long time to heal if ever.”
Post-wedding, Holly and Adam have presented a united front, adopting the combined surname Ramsay Peaty and sharing honeymoon photos this month.
As for Caroline Peaty, she reflected on the ordeal in a December Instagram post: “I won’t be saying ‘2026 is going to be my year.’ I’ll be praying that I recover next year, that my heart never has to break like this again, that I never have to survive something like this again. I’ll be praying for peace… real peace, the kind that lets me breathe without fighting for it. I deserve a year that doesn’t hurt.”
