Taylor Swift simply dropped her latest album The Lifetime of a Showgirl on Friday, October 3 — and it options maybe her steamiest tune but, “Wooden.”
The brand new tune seems to be a nod to Swift’s fiancé Travis Kelce’s off-field efficiency. Want I say extra? However hilariously sufficient for Taylor’s mother, Andrea Swift, the which means appears to have flown proper over her head.
In a brand new interview on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up, the “Love Story” singer was requested what her mom considered the cheeky observe.
“I feel she thinks that tune is about superstitions — well-liked superstitions — which, which it completely is,” Taylor stated, playfully referencing the tune’s surface-level nods to knocking on wooden, seeing black cats, stepping on cracks, and hoping on falling stars.

Apparently, Andrea Swift didn’t catch the apparent innuendos. “That’s the enjoyment of the double entendre,” Taylor instructed the SiriusXM hosts.

At one other level within the interview, the 35-year-old spoke about how she decides when to make use of curse phrases in her lyrics.
