Neds Beach and Lord Howe Island
This popular snorkeling site lies in a sanctuary zone of the Lord Howe Island Marine Park. Visitors flock here to wade into shallow waters and hand-feed schools of fish—one of Australia’s rare spots for such activity. The beach graces the island’s northeast coast.
Lord Howe Island positions itself between Australia and New Zealand, roughly 600 km east of the mainland and directly east of Port Macquarie.
