Authorities say a would-be plane thief noticed his plans finish abruptly after he slammed a stolen aircraft right into a hangar at a Southern California airport.
Ceffareno Michael Logan, 37, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of attempting to steal a Cessna 172, a small plane, which was getting used to coach flight college students at Van Nuys Airport. In keeping with the Los Angeles Airport Police, Logan entered the grounds of the L.A. Flying Academy alongside Balboa Boulevard round 5 a.m.
